New project!! The idea is one of the ones that I’ve been hatching or about 10 years. During the podcast I couldn’t remember who tried to buy my domain name, DaddySings.com. I do now. It was Dave Koz and he did put out that CD. Unspectacular. How did I find his name? I searched for “smooth jazz dave”. I hope nobody ever finds me by searching for “smooth jazz russ” on Google.

NaPodPoMo 2010 #2 – My Podcast Empire

So for show #2 I pulled out all the domain names that I’ve been hording. I’ve decided that the time is right to create my podcast empire. Work is slow, so ones mind turns to other things like, what am I gonna do for the next 20 years. I enjoy design, but my passion is talking into the mic and creating content. I’ve been doing it since May 2005 on the Razing Giants podcast and then with Fat Guy Radio and most recently, the last 3 years, with Fat 2 Fit Radio. Obviously more shows is the answer, so that’s what I’m going to do. More shows. Here is the list of domain names that represent the shows I’d like to do.

greentechnica.com – Green tech, news and products that save you some green
kringlecast.com – The venerable Santa Claus podcast for the season
lastwordintech.com – An irreverent tech podcast damn it
mousellaneous.com – A podcast about all things Disney and Mickey Mouse

Crappy Weekend is Over!

So the weekend from hell is now over. Let’s go over the crappy stuff that happened to me this weekend.

My car was broken into and my GPS was stolen.
I couldn’t go to work waiting for the crime scene unit of the police department to show up.
The guy who fixed my broken window put 4 dents in my door that cracked the clear coat.
My battery died and I had to replace it.

Luckily there were bright points to all this. In between all this Halloween happened and I got more than one compliment on how much the children loved our house decorations. I really had a good time setting it up. I now see why people go through the trouble each Halloween.

Just under the wire for Day 26 of NaPodPoMo. It’s 11:48pm on Nov. 26 and again I ambushed my co-host on Fat 2 Fit Radio, Jeff Ainslie, to talk a little more fitness.

We discussed what to do the day after Thanksgiving, the day after you over-indulge yourself. We also get quite the lessons about the differences between Canadian and American Football. Enlightening.

Tonight while it was raining here in Long Beach, I thought that It would be a great idea to chill out with some mellow acoustic music.

So while I the rain was hitting the roof in my family room I recorded what It sounded like. Yeah, that didn’t turn out so you’ll hear a great recorded sound that I found elsewhere on the Internet.

The web site here now has the Christmas Days theme that I used previously on the Kringle Cast blog. Also the Kringlecast.com domain name is being redirected the the category here that will serve up the feed. Also, also, I submitted the feed to iTunes and it was approved the same day.
