Recently Donald Trump joined the birthers in rattling the cages trying to get the Obama’s birth certificate released.  For most of us, it’s as simple as going to a web site, filling out a form, paying your money, and waiting for the piece of paper to show up in the mail. However, that didn’t happen for Obama’s birth certificate, until just recently.  There was a big hoopla, press conference, etc. about Obama finally releasing his birth certificate.  In my mind, never did think much about it, it must be settled for the stalwart “birthers” now.  Then I saw the videos embedded below.

Holy shit!  That was the only thing that I could say when I saw this video.  If you didn’t view the video, here’s what you missed.  The birth certificate that was released by the White House, supposedly of our President, Barack Obama, is a complete forgery.  There’s no getting around it.  The person that did the first video also did three others to rebut the comments made on the first video. (You’ll find those further below.)  It’s not a real birth certificate.  Plain and simple.  The document was created from multiple sources.  It was not a scanned image.

The next question you have to ask is, if this was so easy to unmask as a forgery why was it released in a stat that made it so easy to uncover?  There are a couple reasons that I can come up with.  Incompetence.  The person that did the forgery had enough skill to make the fake certificate, but didn’t know enough to cover their tracks.  A staffer that could keep a secret, but wasn’t completely up to the task AND those looking at the fake certificate were not savvy enough to check his or her work in this area.  The only one other thing that comes to mind as to why they released this easily uncoverable forgery.  Arrogance.  President Obama and those behind him feel invulnerable.  “We can do whatever the fuck we want, but here’s something to keep you busy while we screw up your life even more.”

I tend to filter these types of things through Hanlon’s razor, “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” so at this point I’m going to assume stupidity.

In either case I now, for the first time since 2008, have doubts as to the nationality of the man running our country.
