While listening to last week’s Macbreak Weekly, Merlin Mann had a pick for the Kindle that I used for my Treo 700p. Part of the pick was feedbooks.com. The service has links to public domain books available for download. The site also links to some software that you can download to your smartphone called MobiPocket. The software is available for PalmOS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, PC and a few other devices.

I downloaded this software on my Treo, ran it and can now visit the Feedbooks mobile site at http://feedbooks.mobi/, and download free books to my phone. Great for that waiting room at the doctor’s office or a few spare minutes on your lunch break.
