Couch to 5K Update

The second day of NaPodPoMo brings a Couch to 5K update.  Week 5 is starting tomorrow and it’s the week that undid my knee the last time I tried this program.  This program can be found over at  For those great running podcasts check out the post I made a few days ago.

Here’s what I’ll be doing this week:

Day One:

  • Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
  • Walk 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
  • Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
  • Walk 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
  • Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)

Day Two:

  • Jog 3/4 mile (or 8 minutes)
  • Walk 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
  • Jog 3/4 mile (or 8 minutes)

Day Three:

  • Jog two miles (or 20 minutes) with no walking.

Also, will be my recording solution of choice for the non-music podcasts for NaPodPoMo. Recording with the iPhone is so easy with this program. Automatic uploading. What could be easier. Well, actually it would be easier if AudioBoo actually made this post from their service like Utterli does, but beggars, choosers and all.

Good luck with your running program – the Podcasts/AudioBoos are cool! With your ipod, do you have the Nike+ system so you can see your running progress? I was always interested in that.
